You’ll think you’ve just rented a movie from the local video store as Daughter of Darkness begins. Eerie music and camera effects set the tone as we see Lilandra, Queen of the Vampires sleeping the sleep of the undead on her alter. Vampire Hunter, Contessa Van Helsing enters and unveils her weapons of choice to battle the Vampire Queen. Garlic, Crosses, and Holy Water are taken out as she reels back with her wooden steak. BUT….Lilandra awakens and a battle ensues. The two fighting females go back and forth, but its soon apparent that superhuman, immortal strength may be too much for poor Contessa. The Queen feeds on the Van Helsing blood and her power grows stronger….she carries her prey off into her crypt.

Later, the husband and fellow Vampire Hunter, Peter Van Helsing arrives to ‘rescue’ his missing wife and finds Lilandra waiting for him. To his horror, a now Gothic Looking Vampire Version of his lovely wife now clings to Lilandra’s leg. Peter now must go up against not one, but two superhuman creatures of the night. The Vampire Women torture him mercilessly and poor Peter must endure the pain of his own wife forcing him down to grovel at the feet of Lilandra. Her evil, maniacal laugh echoes throughout the room as she beats, twists, and pummels her hapless foe (Lilandra must have been a wrestler in her previous life). Peter is eventually able to fend off his undead wife, leaving him to do battle one on one with The Vampire Queen. To his surprise, she unveils a new, time-slowing and teleporting power which really tips the scales in her favor. Can Peter ultimately stop the stronger, more powerful, and evil Lilandra, Queen of the Vampires?…OR will the evil, yet beautiful vampire turn him into her undead slave?
